Phill is a versatile artist and painter based in Whitstable on the North Kent coast, he has a keen interest in landscape, still life and abstraction. He has worked commercially in the visual arts for twenty three years as an illustrator and figurative sculptor. Initially he explored painting through Photoshop and with this grounding in strong drawing and colour theory Phill began to take traditional painting more seriously. In 2012 he began to exhibit his work and create more ambitious paintings.

 

Phill regularly exhibits in the south east in solo and group shows and shares his time between making art and working as a freelance Digital sculptor. He has also recently taken part in the ‘Sky Landscape Artist of The Year’, which airs in early 2025.
